Social media house rules

We’re really pleased to be able to connect with you across the different social media platforms that Children 1st uses. To keep our spaces on these platforms safe and respectful we ask you to follow our house rules.

• comply with the social media platform’s (Facebook, Twitter etc) Terms of Use, as well as these Terms of Use
• consider your privacy and the privacy of anyone else involved – only post information you’re happy for everyone to see
• act with kindness and respect and use appropriate language
• let us know if you have any concerns about something you see on our social media.

• post personal information, such as phone numbers or addresses
• share details about your personal experiences, in order to protect your privacy and the privacy of others 
• bully, harass or intimidate any individual or organisation
• use offensive, abusive or obscene language or imagery
• attack or discriminate against anyone on the basis of their ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability
• post anything unlawful or in violation of any intellectual property rights
• spread false information or any information that you are not sure of
• spam or troll our social media accounts (post persistent negative or abusive posts designed to provoke a response).

It is ultimately Children 1st’s decision if a post or profile is inappropriate and how to act. We will remove or report content that doesn’t follow our house rules and block or ban users who repeatedly break them.

We reserve the right to modify or change these conditions at any time.
