Once again, prominent Perthshire artist and engraver, Dr Malcolm Appleby MBE FRSE, has created a unique work of art for Children First! 2025 marks the 48th year of the Banchory Bangle Raffle. To date the bangle has raised over £200,000 for Children First, with last year’s draw raising £12,052!
The Banchory Bangle design for 2025 is ‘Bunnies and Brambles’ inspired by the playful antics of rabbits in the wild with a touch of tongue in cheek humour. The bunnies featured are busy gnashing on wild flowers, you will also see beetles including a large ground beetle and flies featured. The inside includes a simpler design with a weasel, more bunnies and Malcolm's signature and completion date tucked into a bunny's ear.
The Prizes
There is only one Banchory Bangle, cast in silver gilt, but two copies will be made in silver and bronze.
1st Prize: Bunnies and Brambles bangle in silver gilt (Approximate value £1,000).
2nd Prize: Bunnies and Brambles bangle in silver.
3rd Prize: Bunnies and Brambles bangle in bronze.
How to Enter
